FAQ

Short answers for riders.

AllTraxx is a local-first GPS recorder and hardware bridge for backcountry routes. The app is free; the hardware is the product.

How much will AllTraxx cost?

The target hardware price is $699. The app stays free, including full-fidelity GPX export. No subscription is planned for core ride recording.

Is there a subscription?

No recurring subscription for the core product. The hardware pays for the product; riders should not have to rent access to their own track.

Does it work without cell service?

Yes. Recording is local-first. Map caching and offline topo support are being built so the app remains useful outside service.

What does the hardware module do?

It streams GNSS readings to the phone over BLE, gives us better antenna placement, and sets up the path for trail-time group features through LoRa.

Can I export my ride?

Yes. GPX export is free and full fidelity. The file is compatible with common mapping and fitness tools.

What data do beta diagnostics send?

Engineering bundles can include app events, BLE sessions, module samples, battery readings, firmware version, GPS quality, OTA attempts, and optional route data when the rider opts in.

Will routes be public?

Not by default. Public route sharing and Traxxer board entries should be opt-in, especially once the product moves beyond the private tester group.

Can I pre-order now?

You can join the preorder list. No payment is taken on this site yet; we will contact riders before collecting deposits or shipping hardware.
